Terms of Use
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Diver app and this website. By creating an account or using Diver, you agree to them.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Diver. Keep your sign-in details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
Using Diver
Use Diver for its intended purpose: deciding what to watch with friends. Please don't:
- Harass, impersonate or abuse other people, including through usernames, group names or list names
- Post content that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or infringes someone else's rights
- Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service
- Use automated tools to scrape or spam the service
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to Diver, such as ratings, lists and group names. You give us permission to store and display it so the app works, for example showing your votes to your group. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Movie information and streaming links
Movie and TV data and images come from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability can change and may not always be accurate. Links to streaming services take you to third-party apps and websites, which have their own terms.
The service
Diver is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, Diver isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app. If you keep using Diver after that, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
